Configure the environment for Java

The three-step getting-started guide is now a single Java and Maven quickstart. It covers dependencies, external configuration, a complete application, and result verification.

Windows

On Windows, Linux, or macOS, follow the quickstart's prerequisites and Maven project setup. Maven downloads the driver and its declared dependencies; you don't need to install the driver manually or set a global CLASSPATH.
