Launching Microsoft Edge on older Windows versions
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I recently found an old computer ( Toshiba Satellite L745-S4210) with original windows 7th, and it was not working so I performed a factory reset to it. That fixes that problem and now the computer is running, yet I cannot open either Internet explorer or Google. When I try going to Internet explorer to download Microsoft edge I get a message saying.
"Certificate Error: Navigation Blocked-Windows Internet Explorer"
It also says.
"There is a problem with this website's security certificate"
And it is recommended to click here to close this webpage.
HOW CAN FIX THIS PLEASE?????

Hi Javier, I am Paulo and I'd like to help.
Is it still in Windows 7? If so, unfortunately, IE will no longer be accessible in Windows 7 starting February 14, 2023. Google also announced that it will discontinue the app in Windows 7 starting this year so I suppose it will no longer work as well.
Since it is a discontinued Windows version, I believe Edge will no longer work also even if you successfully installed it as Microsoft announced it ended its support as well to run Edge in this Windows version.
You can try other browser that still works in Windows 7, say Firefox. You can download an offline installer from another device and install it there. Though I can't guarantee that newer versions of these browsers will still work as they are starting to shift into newer Windows as well.
