Read-aloud button "greyed-out" on Edge for iOS when reading PDFs

Hello,

As the title mentions, I am having some issues with the read-aloud functionality.

I am trying to "read-aloud" an online pdf (located here).

On Edge for Windows 11, the functionality works as expected.

However, when I try to do the same on my phone, the "read aloud" button is greyed out and nothing happens when I click on it.

Note that the for other "normal" webpages, the read aloud button is not greyed-out anymore and the functionality works as expected. It seems like it is generally not working on PDFs.

Can someone confirm that the "read-aloud" functionality is not yet available for PDFs on Edge for iOS? Or can I fix this somehow?

I am using Edge for iOS v114.1823.78.

    Good day Victor! I am glad to be able to provide assistance to you today. I have checked this on my end and I have the same version of Edge for iOS and it is also not working with regards to the read-aloud for a PDF and for this it is highly suggested to also send a feedback to the team that is working on Edge and hopefully a fix will be applied soon on the next update and you can provide a feedback from the browser itself by tapping on the 3 dots > Help and feedback.
