Adobe PDF interactive form (in SAP based ESS) is not opening in Microsoft edge for Mac OS. In windows system, there is provision to open in Internet Explorer mode. But it is not available in Mac OS. It is not working in any other browsers also.

Please note that other PDFs (including interactive dynamic PDF forms) are opening within the Edge Browser using Adobe extension (already installed). Only SAP ESS based PDF forms are giving error that "Adobe Reader Plug-in not installed or enabled". I have enabled all possible permission for the SAP ESS website. Still same issue.

Please suggest how to enable it for SAP ESS.

    Hi

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

Based on your description, only the interactive forms made through SAP ESS technology have this issue, so it’s very likely that there’s a

problem with the support of this plugin itself.

In this case, you need to contact Adobe for further assistance.

As for the issue being usable in IE mode, since the Mac version of Edge does not support IE mode, you can only contact SAP and Adobe to

assist you in resolving this issue.

    Best regards
