Logging out from a deleted/inactivated Teams account on Mac Desktop

Hi! In 2022, I participated in a summer school organized by a University that uses Microsoft Teams for collaboration and created an account for me. That was temporary (I am not affiliated with the university anymore, nor did I use the account for personal purposes), and now I have trouble logging into any other account since

  1. when I open the app, only the University's signing-in page opens
  2. I can't sign in and I can't sign out for some reason
  3. I tried to find an account in Keychain Access as suggested here, but I didn't find any accounts
  4. I tried deleting the application and reinstalling it, but that didn't help too :/

Note: I had no problems signing in web version of Teams, but I need a desktop app to use it with a camera!

    Hello,

From the sound of it, you are using MacOS, right?

So yes, you need to remove the account in KeyChain first. If it is not there at all, it can be removed already.

next, uninstall Teams, then go to the following folder

    /Users/[your username]/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams

Delete Teams folder. Restart the device.

Reinstall the app. See if it helps.
