Hello, in the past week I have had the issue of when I try to attach a file to a teams message that it gets stuck in an infinite load. I have attached a screenshot for reference.

I have:

  • restarted the application
  • checked my accessibly settings
  • reinstalled the application

I am thinking this is an issue on Microsoft Teams' end.

    Hello Luke,

My name is EngineTyme, an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you and I would be glad to help you.

I understand how frustrating it can be when you encounter issues with file attachments in Microsoft Teams. Let’s troubleshoot this together! Here are some steps you can take to address the infinite loading issue:

    1. Clear Microsoft Teams Cache: Sometimes cached data can cause unexpected behavior. You could follow the steps below to clear Teams cache using the classic Teams:
    2. If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon in the dock, and then select Quit or press Command (⌘)-Q.
    3. In the Finder, open the /Applications/Utilities folder, and then double-click Terminal.
    4. Enter the following command, and then press Return: rm -r ~/Library/Application\ Support/Microsoft/Teams
    5. Restart Teams.

    1. Check for Updates: Ensure that you are using the latest version of Microsoft Teams. If not, update the application to the latest release.
    2. Try the Web Version: If the issue persists, consider using the web version of Microsoft Teams. You can access it at this link: https://teams.microsoft.com.
