Android Teams connection error

Hello,

I am trying to connect to my university account on Teams but the login page gets stuck to loading. In several attempts I also got a 2603 error. It worked ok on my previous phone (S10e), but I cannot login after changing it to a S23. My work account works well on Teams.

I have tried reinstalling the app, clearing the data, restarting the phone but with no success. Any suggestions?

Android version: 14 - One UI version 6.0

Teams version: 1416/1.0.0.2023223901

    Hello,

Unfortunately the steps above do not help.

Android OS - I am already on the latest version.

Teams App - I am already on the latest version.

Checked if Date and Time Settings are correct and yes, they are correct.

    Not using any VPN.

    The issue still persists.

The application gets stuck to login when trying to use Outlook or OneDrive too.

    Hello LIVIA-MARIA,

I'm Shalom and I'd happily help you with your question. In this forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble logging in to your university account on Teams. the error code 2603 indicates that there is a network connection issue between your device and the Microsoft server. This could be caused by factors such as incorrect date and time settings, outdated app or Android version, or a VPN or firewall blocking the connection. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Check your date and time settings: Make sure that your device’s date and time settings are correct.

Update your app and Android version: Make sure that your Teams app and Android version are up to date. You can check for updates in the Google Play Store.

Check your VPN and firewall settings: If you’re using a VPN or firewall, make sure that it’s not blocking the connection to the Microsoft server. You can try disabling your VPN or firewall temporarily to see if that resolves the issue.

Regarding your issue with Outlook and OneDrive, it could be related to the same network connection issue. You can try the above steps to see if it resolves the issue.

    I hope this helps.

    Best Regards, Shalom
