Hello Josh Ryan3
Good day to you!
Thank you for posting in the Microsoft community. It's great to hear that your students enjoyed it
From what you've described, it seems like there might be a few factors at play. Firstly, the Speaking Coach might have limitations in detecting certain behaviors, especially if the student's actions were subtle or inconsistent. Additionally, focusing on too many areas at once could potentially dilute the effectiveness of the feedback mechanism.
Here are a few tips that might help improve the feedback accuracy:
- Limit the Focus Areas: Try reducing the number of focus areas to the most critical ones. This might help the AI concentrate better on the specific aspects you want to improve.
- Ensure Clear Visibility: Make sure the students are well-lit and clearly visible to the camera. Poor lighting or obstructions can affect the AI's ability to accurately assess behaviors like eye contact and facial movements.
- Submit feedback to Microsoft backend team for review: As speaker coach uses AI and is in preview, I would recommend submitting the false positive detections to Microsoft to improve the AI accuracy.
