who has access to an existing notebook when a page from it is shared in a MS teams channel's onenote tab

Hi

I have an academic institutional account for MS teams. Outside teams, I have an existing notebook with a page corresponding to each student. Now on MS teams, I have created a team with multiple channels, one for each student. I then added a notebook tab for each channel/student and linked the page corresponding to the student from the existing notebook. I want to know, does the student only have access to that page or the whole notebook? I can see the whole notebook within each channel if I click the show navigation icon on the left of the notebook tab; I hope students can't.
