Unable to create a Website tab for a Google Calendar in New Teams

Our team has been using a website tab for an old, shared Google Calendar, that worked flawlessly in the previous Teams version (still does if we go back).
New Teams version only shows "error 403" when we try to access the tab.
Our company provides Teams with no Exchange functionality, which forces us to use our old Google Calendar (which some people prefer) for scheduling.
Is there a way to re-enable visualization of the google calendar in a website tab in Teams?
