Unable to create a powerpoint slide from a pdf file using microsfot 365 copilot

I aam a subsriber of microsoft 365 copilot. I was trying to create a powerpoint slide from pdf file. However, Copilot kept showing the following message "Sorry, I can’t do that just yet. For now, I can only create a presentation from a Word or PDF document. Start typing the name of a file, or copy and paste a link, and I’ll make some slides for you to edit.". I have ensured that the file was indeed pdf and was uploaded succesfully to onedrive, but somehow when I tried out creat a slide from a file, the Copilot could not identify or come up with a list of file. why is that?

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.  

    I realize that although your PDF file is stored in OneDrive, you still have problem with **creating PowerPoint presentation from PDF file in Copilot.**I understand the inconvenience this may have caused.

    I would like to explain:
    Creating a presentation using Copilot is a feature that is currently gradually rolling out and may not be fully stable yet.

    In my testing (in Office version 2502) **** and in the feedback from other users on this forum, we encountered a similar situation to yours.
    For example: I am unable to create presentation from file in copilot, I tried but - Microsoft Community

    Please understand and accept my apology because as a community moderator, we are not responsible for the development and design of Microsoft products and have limited resources for product development.

    However, I have alreadysubmitted this problem in the feedback platform.

    The higher the number of votes, the more likely the development team will focus on solving the problem.

    Additionally, you can also provide feedback directly within the PowerPoint application.
    Click on Help> Feedback>I don’t like something.

    Thanks for your understanding and patience during this time. I hope that the Copilot development team will improve the feature of creating PowerPoint presentation from PDF file in Copilot in the future update.
