    Dear @Renthlei, Rina,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I understand that you want to set up Microsoft Teams on your MacBook Air running macOS 12.6 or 12.7. Microsoft previously offered a Classic Teams version compatible with macOS 10.14 and later (including 12.6 and 12.7). However, the new Microsoft Teams app requires macOS 13 or later and only support for Classic Teams ends July 1, 2025, and availability may be limited.

For reference: End of availability for classic Teams client - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn

"The end of support for the classic Teams client starts July 1, 2024. The end of availability for the classic Teams client starts July 1, 2025."

Therefore, there is no Teams version available which can be installed on Mac OS 12.7.6.

Option 1: You may need to install/download old version of Office 365 that work on your Mac OS 12.7.6. You can download the installer version 16.88

Option 2: Also, you can download the installer version 16.88 from this page: Update history for Office for Mac as well.

Option 3: You can download the compatible version of Microsoft Teams for Mac here:   https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-teams/download-app

Please note that the New Teams app requires macOS 13 or later, so it may not be available for your current system.

If you upgrade to macOS Ventura or newer in the future, you’ll be able to switch to the New Teams experience.

    Workaround Solution:

Use the Web Version of Teams

You can access nearly all Teams features directly in your browser: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-teams/log-in. This works well for meetings, chat, and collaboration without needing to install anything.

I hope this information is helpful. Please follow these steps and let me know if it works for you. If not, we can work together to resolve this.

I'm looking forward for your reply.
