MS Teams on Wear OS over LTE

Is there any way to install and use MS Teams on Wear OS watches (Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra + OneUI 8)?

And ideally in standalone mode, i.e. when the watch is connected to the Internet via LTE+eSIM, without bluetooth connectivity to the phone.

And ideally not just receiving notifications, but also with the ability to reply to messages, or even receive/initiate voice calls.

Neither MS Teams nor LTE watches make sense to me without this option, as MS Teams is an essential communication tool in our company. And I also often use Teams with a private MS account for private communication after Skype is discontinued.

    Thank you for reaching out to the Q&A forum!

    For your situation, please take note that: 

    Currently, Microsoft Teams is not officially supporting Wear OS smartwatches, including the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra running OneUI 8. 

    • Even though the watch supports LTE and eSIM for standalone use, there is no dedicated Teams app available for Wear OS.  
    • The only available functionality is receiving basic notifications, and even that requires the watch to be connected to your phone via Bluetooth. Replying to messages or joining calls is not supported. 

    However, your idea is truly insightful and forward-thinking. As smartwatches continue to evolve into powerful standalone devices, it's only natural to expect essential communication tools like Microsoft Teams to be available on them. 

    You're absolutely right: Teams shouldn't be limited to just phones, tablets, or computers. The ability to send messages, join meetings, and make calls directly from a smartwatch would be a game-changer for mobile professionals and everyday users alike. 

    Since this is a design limitation, I highly recommend submitting feedback through the Microsoft 365 Feedback Hub:  

    • Go to Help > Feedback > Send Feedback  
    • Describe your suggestion in detail.

    This allows the development team to understand the needs of real users. Not only Teams, but all Microsoft apps are continuously improved to better serve users like you. Your feedback may help us revive or introduce features that make a real difference. 

    Every submission is reviewed, and many product enhancements have come directly from user input. I’ll also submit feedback myself, as it’s clear that many users are experiencing the same issue.
