Unable to Reorder Chat into Favorites in Microsoft Teams

After hiding and unhiding a chat in Microsoft Teams, an attempt was made to place it back into the favorites section. However, the message "We cannot reorder this chat" appears. Refreshing the app multiple times has not resolved the issue. What steps can be taken to fix this?

    Regarding your issue, may I kindly ask if you could answer a few questions so I can understand your issue better 

    Are you using the Teams desktop app or the web version?

    Does this issue also occur on your mobile app?

    Are you running Teams on Windows or Mac?

    Have you tried clearing the Teams cache yet? Clear the Teams client cache - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn
