how do one fix a power point and word when it is saying an error repair or cancel and it can not work. how can one repair such an errror

    Of you are using Office on a Windows device, because that error appears in more than one Office app the best option is to perform a full repair of your Office installation.

    Open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu)

    Go to Apps, then scroll down to find Microsoft Office

    Select that and choose Modify - Online Repair.

    That should fix any issues with your Office Installation.
