    Dear Brandon Cline,

The issue you're experiencing—where Quick Access is missing and attempting to re-pin the Desktop folder results in a “parameter is incorrect” error—is typically caused by corruption in the system’s Quick Access cache.

To resolve this, we recommend the following steps:

Open Command Prompt (you do not need administrator privileges).

Run the following command to clear the Quick Access cache: del /F /Q %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations

Restart your computer and try pinning the Desktop folder again.

This process resets the Quick Access configuration and often restores normal functionality. Please note that previously pinned items may need to be re-added manually.

If my answer is useful for you, please vote for me.

    Best regards,

    Quinnie Quoc.
