Hi!
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.
That’s a common annoyance in Microsoft Edge, especially when the weather card or widget keeps showing the wrong town.
Please follow these steps one-by-one.
Step 1: Set your weather location directly in Edge
On the news feed (Microsoft Start) page at the bottom, you’ll see a Weather card.
Hover your mouse over it and click the three dots (…) or “Customize”.
Choose Edit location.
Type your city/town name and pin it as your default location.
Click Save.

You will need a Microsoft account logged in.
