I have been with an issue on EDGE which migrated to Chrome and Firefox. Get the message 'edge: too many requests'. I've cleared cache, done all steps indicated by ANYONE, waited 24 hours and still am unable to get into Yahoo mail. Need a fix please!!

This is infuriating. I open Google Chrome as Edge has hooks into all your Word, Excel etc. products to see what you are doing so they can then customize ads for you in Edge. I cannot stand Microsoft and the intrusive nature. I stopped all edge services, disabled all edge startup and processes, reboot my machine and even when I open Chrome, I get the Edge message. That tells me there are absolutely hidden processes you can't see where Microsoft is tracking EVRYTHING. For them to push this off and say well this is a Yahoo issue, how dumb are we to believe that. We desperately need a new operating platform to get rid of Microsoft. Elon? Come on. Could be your next business venture. An open AI operating system that doesn't track you, censor you, and FORCE unwanted updates to push more marketing crap down your throat. It is time to rid us of Microsoft.

Hi, I'm sorry to hear that.

Are you seeing this only on Yahoo Mail or on other sites too? Microsoft says this happens when the browser sends too many requests quickly.

Just make sure Edge is updated, sign out of Yahoo and restart the browser, disable extensions, and try InPrivate mode.

If the issue continues across browsers, it may be related to your network or Yahoo’s servers, so contacting Yahoo support is the official way to restore access.

I see. Thanks for the update. Since you’ve tried all steps in Edge, Chrome, and Firefox, and the issue persists even after clearing cache and disabling extensions, this is now on Yahoo’s side.

For browser errors like “too many requests” that appear across multiple browsers cannot be fixed from Edge. You should continue working with Yahoo support, as they are the only ones who can resolve account access issues directly. Using Outlook to access your mail is a valid workaround while Yahoo resolves the sign-in problem.
