How to revert to the old page tab layout that’s now updated with a left screen sidebar where multiple pages are now stacked on top of each other. New Layout is horrid.

I wish there was a simpler answer how to get rid of the left side tab. Now I can't read comments when I read the NYT or write a comment because the "submit" button on the far right is not accessible to me.
