    Hi,

Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft community and sharing what’s happening. I’m really sorry you’re going through this, it sounds incredibly stressful. The good news is that you still have options to recover your accounts and data, though it will take a few steps.

First, contact your mobile carrier right away and report the theft. Ask them to block the stolen SIM and issue a new one with the same number. This is very important because most accounts rely on SMS for verification.

Next, start regaining access to your accounts. For Google, go to the Google Account Recovery page and follow the prompts using your email address. If you have backup codes or a recovery email, use those. For Microsoft, visit the Microsoft Account Recovery page. If you can’t access your phone, select “I don’t have any of these” and complete the recovery form.

Once you’re back in, make sure to strengthen your security. Set up two-factor authentication using an authenticator app like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator instead of SMS, and update all your passwords immediately.

If you’re unable to recover an account, reach out to support directly and provide as much detail as possible, old passwords, last login dates, and the devices you’ve used. Here’s a helpful link for Microsoft account recovery: Help with the Microsoft account recovery form - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/help-with-the-microsoft-account-recovery-form-b19c02d1-a782-dee6-93c3-dc8113b20c42

I hope this helps. Let me know how things go.

    Best,

    Edward

If your mobile phone has been stolen and you have lost access to your accounts due to the disconnection from your mobile number, here are some steps you can take to try to recover your information:

    1. Account Recovery Options: Most platforms, including Microsoft, Gmail, and Facebook, offer account recovery options. You can usually initiate a recovery process by selecting "Forgot Password?" on the sign-in page. This may allow you to recover your account using an alternate email address or security questions.
    2. Contact Support: If you are unable to recover your accounts through the standard recovery options, consider reaching out to the customer support teams for each service. They may have additional methods for verifying your identity and restoring access to your accounts.
    3. Secure Your Accounts: If you regain access to any of your accounts, immediately change your passwords and enable two-factor authentication (2FA) if it's available. This will help secure your accounts against unauthorized access in the future.
    4. Report the Theft: Report the theft of your phone to your local authorities. They may be able to assist you in recovering your device or provide you with a report that could be useful for identity theft protection.
    5. Monitor for Unauthorized Activity: Keep an eye on your accounts for any unauthorized activity. If you notice anything suspicious, report it to the respective service provider immediately.
    6. Consider Identity Theft Protection: If sensitive information was stored on your phone, you might want to consider enrolling in an identity theft protection service to monitor for any misuse of your personal information.

Taking these steps can help you recover your information and secure your accounts after losing access due to the theft of your mobile device.
