Thanks. That kind of arbitrary limitation is exactly why Microsoft products have such a bad reputation. Basic functionality should not be withheld simply to push users into a paid ecosystem. It is hard not to see that as vendor lock-in.

How do I make a test call in Teams in a browser? There is no option to make a test call? Why would you remove this functionality or not make it searchable in settings?

Unfortunately, at the moment, there's no way to make a test call in the free version of Microsoft Teams. This feature is only available for the business / education version of Teams.
