Launching Microsoft Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
A few weeks ago, Microsoft Edge started opening up Bing as my default browser whenever I launched the search engine. I tried setting my default browser to Google or back to Edge, but nothing worked, and it ended up on an infinite, uninterruptable loading screen whenever I opened a new tab. I found 2 ways to circumvent this: 1, I could go into my History and open a previous tab, which would end the infinite loading screen, or 2, I could click on the referesh button to get it to stop loading, but the screen would still be blank and I wouldn't be able to see any of my bookmarks or anything.
Method 2 has stopped working, for some reason, and having to go into my History and open a new tab that is very tedious. Is there any way I can make my default browser Microsoft Edge again? I liked having all of my bookmarks there and I really hate Bing.

Hi I'm Rodrigo and I will help you.
I believe you want to reset the browser home page, to do it, on Microsoft Edge, select the three dots in the top right corner > Settings > Start, home, and new tab page > Set the option "Open the new tab page"

To switch back to Microsoft Edge as your default browser, you can follow these steps:
If you are using Group Policy or Mobile Device Management (MDM), you can also use the Set a default associations configuration file Group Policy or the DefaultAssociationsConfiguration setting to set Microsoft Edge as the default browser for your organization.
Additionally, ensure that Microsoft Edge is installed on your device, as the default file associations won't apply if it isn't installed.
If you continue to experience issues with loading or accessing your bookmarks, you may want to check for updates to Microsoft Edge or consider resetting the browser settings to resolve any potential conflicts.
