I do not have any audio on my laptop. When I go to systems, sound, properties under general it says "dont allow" how do i change that

If you click "don't allow", it's a button that will change to "allow".

Whether this button shows the status and clicking the button changes the status (to the opposite of what it says on the button).

Or the button is the action and you pressing it will change to "don't allow" and therefore the current status is "allow" (but you have to deduce that).

Either way this seems like a really unintuitive interface. Good luck!

Edit: the text under "Audio" tells you the status and the button does the action that's written on it. The text under "Audio" could be much clearer IMHO. So if your button says "Don't Allow", the text will say something like "Allow apps and Windows to use this device for audio" - that's the current status.
Clicking the button will stop apps and windows being able to use the device. So I don't think this is your problem.

I'm having the same issue. Seems 'don't allow' is in default. I tried clicking on 'Don't Allow' to change to 'Allow' and nothing. Didn't work.
