Hi, I have 2 boys with 2 playstation 5's - they both got Forza Horizon 5 at Christmas which requires a microsoft account. As they both play Minecraft, they already have their own emails for each playstation so are completely separate. Unfortunately in the rush of Christmas, I have mistakenly linked their microsoft emails to the wrong Forza Accounts (basically managed to swap the emails around so they have each other's Microsoft Accounts linked to their Forza Accounts instead of their own!!!). I have tried going onto Forza on the Playstation and have located 'Settings' however, 'Account' or 'Profile' are not visible there for me to unlink anything. I have also logged into the Microsoft account on the Web and again, not been successful in navigating to anywhere that suggests unlinking Microsoft Accounts from either the Playstation itself or Forza! .. PLEASE SEND HELP! I have 2 furious boys who just want to play their own games ... Look forward to hearing from yoh - Thanks so much!

    Dear @Ellie Quinn,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. I am a moderator of the Q&A forum, and while I help clarify general questions, I am not able to access account‑specific tools or make changes in customer environments.

For this issue, the fastest and most appropriate channel is the Foza Support team, who can review your case and provide direct assistance. Please contact them via Forza Support > Create a ticket

    • Provide both boys’ PSN IDs, the Microsoft email addresses that should be linked, your region, and a short description (“linked to the wrong accounts on first setup”).

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

To unlink Microsoft accounts from Forza, you will need to follow a few steps. Unfortunately, the unlinking process is not directly available within the Forza game on PlayStation. Instead, you can manage linked accounts through the Microsoft account settings. Here’s how you can do it:

    1. Access Microsoft Account Settings: Log into the Microsoft account associated with the Forza account on a web browser.
    2. Account Management: Look for account management options related to linked accounts. You may need to check under security or privacy settings.
    3. Unlink Accounts: If available, find the option to unlink the Forza account from the Microsoft account. This may not be explicitly labeled as "unlink" but could be under account connections or similar terminology.
    4. Repeat for the Other Account: Repeat the process for the second Microsoft account linked to the other Forza account.

If you are unable to find the unlinking option through the Microsoft account settings, you may need to contact Microsoft support for assistance as they can provide guidance specific to your situation.
