Link to my class video doesn’t appear for me to join class in the teams app. I’m using an IPad. When I access the teams app through another laptop, it’s there.

Last week, I joined my class just fine. A button appeared where my professor indicated it would be. Today, the class link didn’t appear for me to join but I can tell others joined. I tried updating the teams app to the recent version but it still doesn’t help. I’m using an IPad because that’s what I can use at work. When I tried to join the class with another laptop, the button appeared. What can I do to resolve this issue?

    Dear @Geovany Palacios

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

May I ask to clarify, is your issue that the 'Join' button for your class doesn't appear on the Teams app on your iPad, even though the class is currently in progress? Please confirm if I have understood this correctly.

Also, was this meeting created by your professor within a specific channel? If possible, could you please provide a screenshot of your current interface?

Since I don’t have an iPad environment available for testing right now, I can't check it directly, so a screenshot would be very helpful. However, on my iPhone, I can see the Join button by following these steps: Go to the Team > Select the Channel > Tap on the meeting post > Switch to the 'Details' tab.

It sounds like you're experiencing an issue with the Microsoft Teams app on your iPad where the class link is not appearing as expected. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue:

    1. Check Your Internet Connection: Ensure that your iPad has a stable internet connection. Sometimes, connectivity issues can prevent the app from loading properly.
    2. Clear App Cache: If possible, try clearing the cache of the Teams app. You can do this by uninstalling and reinstalling the app on your iPad.
    3. Update iOS: Make sure your iPad's operating system is up to date. Sometimes, compatibility issues can arise if the OS is outdated.
    4. Check App Permissions: Ensure that the Teams app has the necessary permissions to access your calendar and notifications, as this can affect the visibility of meeting links.
    5. Restart Your iPad: A simple restart can sometimes resolve app issues.
    6. Contact Support: If the problem persists, consider reaching out to your IT support or Microsoft support for further assistance.

Since you mentioned that the link appears on your laptop, it may also be worth checking if there are any specific settings or permissions related to the Teams app on your iPad that differ from your laptop.
