There are so many times when I want to link to an existing Q&A Answer or Comment but it does not seem to be an option.
I know the mechanism is there because email notifications from Q&A can do this.
e.g. This link from an email notification:
Will resolve to:
Which is a direct link to the Comment.
Is there ant way to give us the same ability? To "Get Link" or "Share Link" from the Q&A UI.

A share button would be a helpful addition, and it's something several community members have suggested as well. We'll make sure this feedback is shared with the engineering team, keeping in mind that next steps will depend on current priorities and other work already underway.
I forgot to mention that I usually just highlight the first sentence of the answer/comment I want to link to, then right-click > Copy link to highlight. This is a friendlier workaround than entering the whole syntax :)

I never knew I could use "copy link to highlight" to pinpoint something on Q&A! Thank you.
I will play with this to be sure the link continues to work as the thread updates. My primary use is to link to an older answer/comment to avoid copy/pasting the info into a new link.

Only works sometimes. Not consistent enough to depend on.
Fairly consistent on Answers. As long as the Answer doesn't change pages because of the voting for "Most Helpful" or the user changes the default Answer Sort.
Not so much for Comments. Particularly in long multi-page threads where there is a "Show nn more comments"

Yeah, it doesn't seem to work so well with comments :( Another good reason to push for this feature.
Currently, there is no direct feature in the Microsoft Q&A UI that allows users to generate a "Get Link" or "Share Link" option for specific answers or comments. However, email notifications from Q&A do include direct links to answers and comments, as you noted in your example. This functionality is not yet available for users to access directly from the Q&A interface itself.
For now, users may need to rely on the links provided in email notifications or manually copy the URL from their browser when viewing a specific answer or comment.
