Since a few days my (snapo installed) teams app can't join (scheduled) meetings anymore. I get the following message. Note that I still can join the meeting from my navigator (firefox). I strongly suspect this is not a os problem, since the message is really about the meeting's ID and passcode. I know this has already been posted but the answer was not accurate in my opinion.

    Hi @COURTIEU Pierre

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Regarding that can't join a meeting from the linux. I’d like to clarify one important point first:

Are you currently using a third‑party package on Linux (such as Snap) to install Microsoft Teams?

Since you mentioned that your Firefox browser can still join meetings, this indicates that your account and the meeting information are working correctly. The issue is typically related to the third‑party Snap installation rather than the meeting ID or passcode.

Because third‑party packages fall outside my support scope, and because this involves Linux specific behavior, the best place to receive accurate and specialized assistance is from communities where Linux users and experts actively participate. You may find helpful guidance from others who use Linux in similar setups.

To get the most accurate, in depth help from experts, I recommend posting this question in one of these communities:

Microsoft Tech Community – monitored by Microsoft Engineers and MVPs

These forums are designed for technical discussions and can provide broader visibility and faster responses from specialists. You will also find other Linux users who may have experienced similar issues.

Once again, I apologize for redirecting you. Since this involves a non‑official installation method, I want to ensure you receive accurate advice

Thank you again for your time and understanding. While my initial response may not resolve the issue immediately, I’d like to gather more details about your situation so I can assist you more effectively.

I really appreciate your patience, and I’m here to help. Looking forward to your response.

Wishing you and your family a prosperous New Year.
