I have just asked a question and said that the answer provided is not correct - so what happens now? I did not pay for the product 365 just to be ignored?

On Microsoft Q&A, answers are community-provided and sometimes can be wrong or incomplete. When an answer is not correct, these are the available options:

    1. Add a comment under the incorrect answer
      • Clarify why it is wrong, add details (error messages, what was tried, environment), or correct specific parts.
      • This helps the person who answered (and others) improve or post a revised answer.
    2. Do not mark it as “Accepted Answer”
      • Only answers marked as accepted (highlighted in green) are treated as the solution.
      • If an answer is wrong, simply leave it unaccepted so others know the issue is still unresolved.
    3. Wait for or request more replies
      • Other community members (including Microsoft-affiliated users and MVPs) can post additional answers.
      • Adding more detail to the original question can attract better answers.
    4. Ask a new question if needed
      • If the thread has gone off-track or is stale, create a new question with clearer details and what has already been tried.
      • Follow the guidance in “How to write a quality question” to increase the chance of getting a correct answer.
    5. Use official support channels for account/billing/product issues
      • Q&A is a user-to-user forum and does not replace official Microsoft support, especially for subscription, payment, or account problems.
      • For Microsoft 365 for home (including Mac), use the Contact us or Answer Desk options from Microsoft support pages to reach an official support agent who can look at the account and subscription directly.

On Q&A, no one is intentionally ignoring the question; the community and moderators simply may not have provided a correct answer yet. Using comments, clarifications, and (for paid Microsoft 365) official support channels is the path to getting the issue resolved.
