Managing media playback issues and settings in Microsoft Edge on Windows 11

Okay so here's a problem I've been facing with Microsoft Edge for a while that STILL hasn't been fixed even after today's update. So for a while, Disney+ worked just fine. It was always in high quality and always playing when it was supposed to. It even worked with all my extensions turned on too. But then one day the footage of every movie or show I played had a dark tint over it for some reason and I found it very annoying and tried looking up if others have had the same problem but I haven't found any. So then an update to Edge happened, and I was excited because I thought that maybe that would fix the black tint over it. But no, it made it worse and now it doesn't play at all. And it's not just Disney+, it's streaming services in general like Netflix and Hulu and such. Error code 83 on Disney+ and pretty much the same error code on the other sites.
And it's been like this for a few weeks since then and it's driving me crazy because I've tried absolutely EVERYTHING I looked up that could possibly fix it. Clearing the cache, clearing the cookies, resetting Edge settings back to default, turning off extensions, disabling hardware acceleration, checking for a Windows Update, and of course hoping that the next Edge update might be able to fix it. But no. With each new update to the browser, it never got fixed. Heck I can't even watch with the Disney+ app from the Microsoft Store because it's set up to run exactly like my current browser. The only way I can get it to work is through another browser like Firefox or Edge Dev. And hey, once the Disney+ app from the Microsoft Store used the Dev Browser for playing stuff on there, it actually worked! But the reason it's so damn frustrating is because I know that using Edge Dev or Canary can make you lose your data at some point and I certainly don't wanna switch to a different browser as I've been using and loving Edge for a long time therefore I want to stick to the stable version, but this is driving me crazy. None of the so called "fixes" I've looked up have been working and neither have the updates. What the heck happened to get all these streaming services to stop working?
Please tell me I'm not the only one who's been struggling with this. Cause ever since it happened, I couldn't find any posts on this site or Reddit or anywhere else that people were going through the exact same problems after the last few updates. So I'm really scared that there's no way to fix it other than to switch to a different browser even though I obviously don't want that. So please tell me there's some kind of fix that could actually help that I've never heard before or if not that, that it WILL start working again in a future Edge update. I find myself doubting that at this point though since the last few updates didn't fix it at all. So please help me because Disney+ is one of my favorite streaming services and of course I need access to the others too. It hasn't been working for weeks and it's driving me insane. Please help. Thank you. Also, there's an image of what it looks like every time I try to watch something on Disney+ before it inevitably stops working and goes back to the home page to tell me that it's "Error Code 83".
