Could Microsoft Teams add a feature that removes or redacts my original message from other users’ replies or quoted text when I delete my message, so sensitive content is no longer visible?

    Hi @KamesH Siva,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I understand that you have deleted a message, but the quoted content of that message may still appear, which can sometimes make you feel uncomfortable.

You can share this experience with the Microsoft Teams product development team through the official Feedback portal.

After accessing the website, please describe your experience, especially the fact that private or sensitive information may still appear in the quoted content even after the original message has been deleted.

This will help the Microsoft Teams development team better understand customer experiences and expectations, and consider providing additional appropriate features, for example:

    • An option to hide or automatically remove quoted content when the original message has been deleted, etc.

Note: Please understand that, as a moderator, I am not able to directly participate in internal decisions or the product design and development process.

Thank you very much for your understanding.

I hope this information is helpful.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to share them in the comments on this post so I can continue to support you.

I look forward to continuing the conversation.
