Click on "Page settings" and a menu will open which will allow you to customize your Microsoft Edge home page.

    Hi, I'm John!

MSN News is not a normal app. It’s part of the Edge start page or “New tab” page. That’s why you don’t see it in Apps.

Are you seeing this on the new tab page, or when Edge first opens?

You can change your Edge homepage using the steps here: https://support.microsoft.com/microsoft-edge/change-your-browser-home-page-a531e1b8-ed54-d057-0262-cc5983a065c6

MSN News is part of the Edge start/new‑tab experience, so it does not appear as a separate app to uninstall. Instead, change the Edge start page settings so MSN content is hidden.

To stop seeing MSN news on the Edge homepage/new tab in Windows 11:

    1. Open Microsoft Edge.
    2. On a new tab or the start page, select the settings cog icon in the upper‑right corner of the page.
    3. To mostly hide the feed, choose Focused. The news feed will be hidden at the top and only appear if scrolling down.
    4. To turn the news feed off completely, choose Custom and then set Content to Content Off.

This removes MSN news from the Edge start page without needing to uninstall any app.
