This happens. I can find no extension that is anything to do with Google Translate or any translation service whatsoever. This is ruining my experience.

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

It appears that you may have an extension installed that pins Google Translate at the top of the browser. What happens when you click the search bar shown in the screenshot? Does it take you anywhere? This will help us determine which extension is causing the issue.

Just paste this link in the address bar, then disable all the extensions and restart the Edge browser.

    edge://extensions/

(OR) go to edge://settings/reset and restore edge settings to their default values.

"Google Translate" appears at the top of a webpage when your browser detects that the page's language is different from your browser's preferred language setting. It's offering to translate the page to your preferred language. In a Chromium-based browser like Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome, your preferred language is in Settings > Languages.
