How to get email responses from questions I have posted

When I open a question post, I never get an email respone when someone answers.

On the web site "https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/users/me/settings", under the "Follow Email Notifications", I have all the options set to "Instant".

What else do I have to do?

You shouldn't need to do anything else. Do you get any emails for Answers or Comments? Have you checked your spam/junk folder?Have you double checked the email address listed in your account is correct.?

I posted an updated to this post, but when I look at the post my comments are not there. I will ask again:

What sender email address should I use to receive a response to my posts? I plan to add it to "allowed senders" to see if that helps.

To receive email notifications when someone answers a question that was posted, two things must be configured in Microsoft Learn / Q&A settings:

Ensure Q&A email notifications are enabled
1. Go to the profile settings page: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/users/me/settings.
2. Scroll to the Q&A preferences section.
3. Make sure Q&A email notifications is turned On. If this is Off, no Q&A emails are sent even if all follow options are set to Instant.
4. Select Save.
Confirm an email address is configured for Microsoft Learn
1. On the same settings page, scroll to Manage email preferences.
2. Enter the email address where notifications should be sent and select the country/region.
3. Select Save.
Verify follow behavior for own questions
1. In Q&A preferences, under Q&A follow preferences, ensure Follow questions you've asked is selected.
2. Select Save.
Verify the specific email notification options Under Follow email notifications → Questions and Answers, make sure the relevant options are enabled (for example, “Receive email when an answer is posted on a question you follow”) and set to Instant, then save.

Once these are set, any new answers on questions that were asked (and therefore followed automatically, if that option is enabled) should generate email notifications.
