Hi I asked a question and I got pages of answers. The question is a problem shared by many of us. In viewing the answers I get a mixture of one new next to one from last month and then one from October..then a newer one..

How can I get the answers organised by the most recent then the one before then the one before...etc?

    Hello

You can use this sort by drop down to organize your answers.

    User's image

Also under each answer, there can be comments too. Think of each answer like a conversation branch, with comments in that branch.

On Microsoft Q&A, answers in a question thread can be sorted, but accepted answers always stay directly under the question and ignore sorting.

To sort the remaining answers so the newest appear first:

    1. Open the question page on Microsoft Q&A.
    2. Above the list of answers, locate the Sort by control (it may show Most helpful by default).
    3. Change the sort option to Newest.
      • Newest orders answers from newest to oldest based on their last updated time (asked, answered, commented, marked as answered, edited, voted/rated).

Comments under each answer are always shown oldest to newest so the conversation is chronological; this cannot be changed.

If the question has many answers across multiple pages, the Newest sort will still apply within that structure, but the accepted answer (if any) will always remain pinned directly below the question.
