Hello Roman Tirler
Was the answer provided by Q&A assist able to help you solve the issue with OneNote webclipper?
If the issue is still unresolve, I would like to add some additional troubleshooting methods to help you. Here is what you can try:
- If your account uses passkey or passwordless sign-in, try choosing password instead when the sign-in window appears, as some March reports suggested the clipper sign-in could fail with passkey-based authentication.
- Open a private/incognito window, sign in to OneNote on the web, open any notebook, and then try launching Web Clipper in that same session. If it works there, the issue is likely tied to the main browser profile or stored sign-in session.
- Allow cookies for Microsoft-related sites:
In Chrome, go to chrome://settings/cookies. (In Edge: edge://settings/content/cookies). Find "Sites allowed to use third-party cookies" (or "Allow" list) and add the following three domains exactly like this:
- [*.]microsoft.com
- [*.]live.com
- [*.]onenote.com
I also found this thread with similar issue; you can check troubleshooting method on that thread here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/5841179/one-note-chrome-extension-cant-logon-to-ms-account
I hope this help. Feel free reply back to this post and update me on this issue, I'll be to help.
