Best ways to organize and search my previous Q&A posts on Microsoft Learn?

Hi everyone!

I’ve noticed that sometimes I can’t easily find questions I’ve asked before on Microsoft Learn Q&A, especially older ones. Is there a best way to search or filter my own posts so I don’t have to scroll through pages manually?

For example: • Can I view all my past questions in one place? • Is there a way to search by keywords or tags for just my posts? • Any tips to make it easier to revisit older threads I’ve participated in?

Would really appreciate suggestions!

Yes. Microsoft Q&A provides a few built‑in ways to get back to content previously created or participated in.

    1. View all questions participated in (“My content” filter)
On any Questions or Tag details page:
      1. Make sure you are signed into the same Microsoft Learn profile used when posting.
      2. In the left pane, under Filters, select My content.
      3. The list will now show any questions that have been contributed to (asked, answered, commented on, or edited).
This is the main way to see all threads participated in without manually browsing the whole site.
    2. Combine “My content” with sort options to find older posts
After selecting My content, use the Sort by control on the right:
      • Updated (default) – shows threads with the most recent activity at the top (including when someone else answers or comments).
      • Created – shows threads ordered by when the question was originally posted. This is useful to work back through older questions.
      • Answers – orders by number of answers; helpful if looking for more active or fully answered threads.
    3. Search for specific topics, then filter to “My content”
To effectively search only own posts by keyword or topic:
      1. Use the search box at the top of Microsoft Learn Q&A and enter the relevant keywords.
      2. On the results page (which is scoped to Q&A content), apply the My content filter in the left pane.
      3. Optionally adjust Sort by (for example, Updated vs Created) to surface the desired thread.
This gives a keyword search that is effectively limited to questions and answers that have been contributed to.
    4. Use tags plus “My content” for topic‑based review
If questions were posted from a specific tag page (for example, a product or technology tag), that tag is automatically attached to the question. To revisit older work on a particular technology:
      1. Open the relevant Tag page.
      2. Apply the My content filter.
      3. Use Sort by → Created to walk through questions in the order they were originally asked.
    5. Additional tips
      • When asking new questions, start from the appropriate tag page so that tag is automatically added; this makes later tag‑scoped review easier.
      • If navigating away while drafting a question, Q&A saves a draft, so partially written posts can be resumed later from the same account.

These tools together (search box + My content filter + sort options + tags) provide an effective way to organize and rediscover previous Q&A activity without manually paging through the global question list.
