Azure DocumentDB stuck in "Pending Action" state after failed network update

Hello,

Our Azure DocumentDB (with MongoDB compatibility) cluster is currently unresponsive and locked out from any configuration changes.

After deploying an Azure Function connected to this database, the database became unreachable (both from the Function and Data Explorer plugins). I attempted to update the Networking settings, but the operation failed and threw an error.

Since that error, the database cluster has been completely locked. The portal UI shows inconsistent states (Overview says Public; Networking says otherwise). Whenever I try to modify settings or upgrade the database, I receive an error stating there is a "pending action." I have waited over 12 hours and there is still no change.

Please help clear this stuck state so I can access and configure my database again.

    Hi Suneth Thotagamuwa,

The product team has confirmed that the cluster is now in a Ready state after completing the required checks and remediation from the backend.

At this point, we request you to please validate the cluster from your end and confirm whether the issue is resolved and the service is functioning as expected.

If you continue to face any issues or notice any inconsistencies while accessing or operating the cluster, please share the details with us so we can assist you further and take the necessary actions.

We’ll be happy to continue supporting you until the issue is fully resolved.
