I am losing audio after 20 secs from a video that was exported

I split a video using the editor - then exported - but I can only hear the first 20 seconds. I have tried everything I can think of to get it to work. Help

    Hello Al Robinson

I can see that you are having an issue with exporting video in Clipchamp

If the audio plays correctly in the editor but cuts out after export, the issue may be related to how the project is processed during export rather than the timeline itself.

Here is what you can try:

    • Export the same project using the other Clipchamp version, if you used the desktop app, try Edge or Chrome; if you used the browser, try the Windows app instead.
    • If you are using a personal Clipchamp account, go to Settings > Export and turn Hardware Acceleration off, then export again.
    • Remove any fade effects or transitions near the point where the audio disappears, then test another export. Similar Clipchamp reports have identified this as a possible trigger for audio dropping only in the exported file.
    • Create a copy of the project and export only a short section around the affected part. This can help identify whether one specific segment or media file is causing the problem.
    • If the issue stays in the same section, convert the original source clip to a fresh MP4 and re-import it into the project. Export issues can sometimes be tied to one of the input files.

Feel free reply back to this post if you need further assistance, I'll be happy to help.
