Hello,

I am having a critical issue accessing the Microsoft for

Startups Founders Hub portal and I need help from the

Microsoft team to fix it on the backend.

PROBLEM:

  1. When I go to portal.startups.microsoft.com or foundershub.startups.microsoft.com, I get redirected to the signup page every time instead of my dashboard.
  2. When I try to login with LinkedIn, the system returns "user not found" even though my account exists.
  3. When I try to login with my Microsoft account, it redirects me to the Azure signup page.

MY ACCOUNT STATUS:

  • Azure Sponsorship Subscription is active ($1,000 credits visible in Azure portal)
  • My application was approved and Azure credits were successfully activated
  • Company verification failed - need a reason and steps to resolve.

WHAT I HAVE ALREADY TRIED:

  • Login with Microsoft account → redirects to signup
  • Login with LinkedIn → "user not found"
  • Cleared cache and cookies
  • Incognito mode
  • Multiple different browsers
  • Logged a support request but I am not getting a response: 2604110050000462

It seems my startup profile was never correctly provisioned

in the Founders Hub backend, even though the Azure

subscription was created successfully.

Could someone from the Microsoft for Startups team please

manually reset or reprovision my account so I can access

the Founders Hub dashboard and benefits (GitHub Enterprise,

Visual Studio, LinkedIn, etc.)?

Thank you.

Hey there! It looks like your startup profile wasn’t fully provisioned in the Founders Hub backend, which is why you’re stuck in a login loop and seeing that your company verification “failed.” Let’s walk through a few checks and fixes you can do right now, plus some tips on getting a manual reset if needed.

    What to try next:

    1. Confirm & fix your company verification
    • Sign in to the Microsoft for Startups Portal (portal.startups.microsoft.com/login) with your MSA.
    • Click the gear icon (top right) → “My profile” → “Verification summary.”
    • If your verification failed, you’ll see which step (DUNS lookup or document upload) caused the error.
    • Re-upload valid docs or provide a D-U-N-S number. Official docs can be: incorporation certificate, business registry printout, tax filings, etc.
    • Each step auto-verifies or goes to manual review (2–5 business days). Watch for email updates and follow any “action required” links.
    1. Clear out old sign-in state
    • After re-submitting your verification, clear your browser cache/cookies again or use an Incognito window.
    • Make sure you’re signing in with the exact MSA tied to your startup admin profile. LinkedIn login won’t work unless your profile was explicitly connected.
    1. Try alternate sign-in paths
    • If you still can’t reach your dashboard at portal.startups.microsoft.com, go to the Visual Studio Subscriptions portal (my.visualstudio.com/benefits). If you see your Azure credits there, your account is live—just missing the Founders Hub link.
    • In your Azure portal, check “Subscriptions” under Azure Services and confirm your Sponsorship subscription is listed. That proves the credits side is active.
    1. Submit or escalate a support ticket
    • In the Startups Portal, click the “?” icon > “Submit a Support Ticket.” Attach screenshots of your “verification failed” screen.
    • If you don’t get a response in 24–48 hours, reply to that ticket and ask for escalation to the Microsoft for Startups team.

Hope this helps you get unstuck! Let us know what you see in your verification summary or if you run into any new errors.
