My new Surface laptop has neon green streaks in words, pics, videos, etc. What is going on. How do I fix it?

    Update everything via Windows Update

    Reinstall graphics drivers:

    Go to Device Manager → Display adapters

    Uninstall → Restart

    Turn off hardware acceleration (in browsers/apps)

    Press Win + Shift + S

    View the screenshot on another device or zoom in

    If green streaks appear in the screenshot → software/GPU issue

    If NOT → screen hardware problem

    Shut down

    Hold Volume Up + Power

    If green streaks appear there → definitely hardware (screen or cable)

    As your device is new so Request replacement (DOA / warranty claim)

    Check your Microsoft warranty and create service orders
