I wanted to create account Azure for students, so that I can apply for Microsoft student ambassador, but for some reasons I do not have access to create account for Azure students platform. Thank you for your future response.

Best wishes, Ester Bya.

To sign up for Azure for Students and resolve access issues, check the following points step by step:

    1. Verify eligibility
      • Must be 18 or older.
      • Must be a full-time student at an accredited, degree‑granting 2‑year or 4‑year institution.
      • Must be able to verify academic status using an institutional (school/university) email address.
      • Only one Azure for Students subscription is allowed per eligible person.
    2. Confirm that the offer is appropriate
      • Azure Dev Tools for Teaching does not include Azure credit. To get Azure credit, Azure for Students is required.
      • If the institution only provides Azure Dev Tools for Teaching, still need to sign up separately for Azure for Students using the school email.
    3. Common sign‑up blockers and checks
      • If any generic Azure sign‑up error appears (for example, “We cannot proceed with sign‑up…” or “You are not eligible for an Azure subscription”), verify:
        • Profile information (name, address, phone) is correct.
        • No other Microsoft account exists with exactly the same profile details.
      • If a message indicates the account type or directory is not supported (for example, account is in an unmanaged Microsoft Entra directory), sign up with a different account or have an admin take over the unmanaged directory before trying again.
    4. If sign‑up still fails
      • Use a different browser or a private/incognito session and try again.
      • If there is still no option to create the Azure for Students subscription, contact Azure support from the Azure portal or via the support options in the troubleshooting article and provide the exact error message seen during sign‑up.

These steps ensure that eligibility, account type, and directory issues are addressed, which are the most common reasons students cannot complete Azure for Students sign‑up.
