Outlook, Authenticator, Teams and Ondrive app is essentially unusable. I performed a full uninstall and reinstall all of them, but when I try to sign in and enter my work email address, the screen turns completely blank, blocking further progress.

    Hi @Palmira Paerce

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A forum, and we apologize for the inconvenience you’re experiencing.

From my findings, many users reported about unexpected behavior affecting Outlook, Authenticator, Teams, and OneDrive on Android devices. However, to assist you more effectively, could you please provide the following information:

-Which version of Android are you currently using?

-Are your Outlook, Authenticator, Teams, and OneDrive applications fully updated?

In the meantime, you may try the following troubleshooting steps:

-Restart your phone (power it off and then back on, rather than performing a reset)

-Clear the cache for these applications

-If the issue persists, try reinstalling Android System WebView by following these steps:

    1. Settings -> Search for "Android System Webview" -> App Details In Store -> Remove Updates
    2. Reboot
    3. Settings -> Search for "Android System Webview" -> App Details In Store -> Update

If "Android System Webview" doesn't appear in the app list, go to: Settings -> Google -> All services -> System Services -> Select "Android System Webview", then:

    1. Reboot
    2. Launch Teams/Outlook & log in.

The blank sign-in screen across Outlook, Authenticator, Teams, and OneDrive is consistent with known issues where the Microsoft 365 sign-in or authentication UI fails to load.

    Follow these steps in order:

    1. Close all Microsoft apps
    • Fully close Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and Authenticator.
    • Make sure they are not running in the background (use Task Manager if needed on Windows, or force close on mobile).
    1. Clear cached identity and authentication data (Windows desktop) If these apps are also used on a Windows PC and show similar blank sign-in behavior, clear the local identity/auth caches that affect sign-in:
    1. Delete AAD Broker and related caches
    • Press Windows + R, paste and open each of these paths one at a time, and delete everything inside each folder:
      • %LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin_cw5n1h2txyewy
      • %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\OneAuth
      • %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\TokenBroker
      • %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\IdentityCache
    • Restart the device and try signing in again.

This procedure is used to fix cases where Microsoft 365 desktop apps cannot sign in or show blank authentication screens due to corrupted identity state.

    1. Clear Office identity cache if repeatedly prompted or stuck If Office apps keep asking to sign in or remain stuck:
    • Close all Office apps.
    • Go to C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Microsoft.
    • Delete the folders identitycache and OneAuth.
    • Restart the device and sign in again.
    1. Check for security software interference The symptoms described (blank authentication window, sign-in stuck) are documented when security software interferes with the Microsoft AAD Broker and sign-in components:
    • Temporarily disable or relax any third‑party security/endpoint protection and test sign-in.
    • If sign-in works with security software disabled, adjust that product’s settings or exclusions so it does not block Microsoft 365 authentication components.
    1. For Outlook add-ins or hosted apps showing blank screens If Outlook itself opens but hosted apps or add-ins show blank content:
    • Close Outlook and all Office apps.
    • Reopen Outlook and test again. This is a known workaround for Outlook hosted applications that display an empty screen.

If the issue persists after clearing the identity and auth caches and checking security software, escalation to the organization’s IT admin or Microsoft support is required, as there may be a tenant or device-specific policy blocking the authentication UI.
