I have a subscription to teams shared by 2 emails. When I went to create a teams channel -it does not even give me an option to create a channel and I'm the admin. Is enabling me to set up a Admins must enable B2B direct connect going to solve this problem? if so, how do I do that?

    Hi @Lisa Asper,

Thanks for your question. Based on the information provided, enabling B2B direct connect in Microsoft Teams is not typically required for creating a channel, so I may need a bit more detail to better understand your situation.

Could you please help clarify a few things:

    1. When you try to create a channel, what do you see?
    2. Is the “Add channel” option missing, or do you get any error message?
    3. Are you able to create a Team, or is the issue only with creating a channel inside a Team?
    4. Is this Team created by you, or were you added to it by someone else?
    5. Make sure you are using a work/ school account instead of personal account?
    6. If possible, could you share a screenshot of what you see when clicking the three dots (…) next to the Team name?
    • Please make sure to hide or blur any personal or sensitive information (such as email addresses, names, or tenant details) before sharing.

With a bit more detail, the community here can help point you in the right direction.

    Looking forward to your response.
