We've identified a recent code change that has resulted in impact and preventing users from utilizing the AI Custom meeting summary feature within Microsoft Teams. We've internally developed and validated a code change to address the problems and to remediate the impact. We're expecting an updated timeline for the deployment of our fix to be available to share by our next scheduled communication update.

Whoops , I forgot. Not everyone has access to the Admin portal and as Admins we are sworn to secrecy to keep Microsoft failures a secret. Drat. I will probably lose my admin license now :-)

Preliminary root cause
A portion of our North American Copilot infrastructure experienced high resource utilization, resulting in impact.
Next steps
We're continuing to investigate additional optimizations we can apply to Copilot infrastructure to ensure smooth traffic-handling in the future.
We'll provide a preliminary Post-Incident Report within two business days and a final Post-Incident Report within five business days.
