Microsoft edge loads as a micro sized window in the upper left corner of my display with only the close button showing

This behavior matches a known Microsoft Edge issue where pop-up or new windows are incorrectly positioned near the upper-left corner of the main browser window instead of using the expected coordinates.

Microsoft has confirmed this as a problem in Microsoft Edge and is researching it. Because it is a product issue, standard repair steps (including the Repair option already tried) may not resolve it.

Until an update fixes the problem, use these general Edge troubleshooting steps to reduce other display issues and ensure Edge is healthy:

1. Make sure Microsoft Edge is up to date
   • Select Settings and more (⋯) > Settings > About Microsoft Edge.
   • If an update is available, apply it.
2. Clear browsing history and cached data
   • Select Settings and more > History > Open history page.
   • Select Delete browsing data.
   • Under Time range, choose All time.
   • Select Browsing history and Cached images and files, then Clear now.
3. If problems continue
   • Restart the computer and try Edge again.
   • If still affected, use Settings and more > Help and feedback > Send feedback to report the window-position issue so it is associated with the device and configuration.

Because this is a confirmed Edge bug, long-term resolution depends on receiving a browser update that corrects the window positioning behavior.
