I created an account for Azure for Startups to receive credits for testing my project. However, after completing all the required steps, I am still seeing the message "Credits may take 24 hours to appear after redeeming." This has been displayed for over 24 hours. I have requested support, but I haven't received any helpful responses so far. How can I get assistance with this issue?

Your credits freeze only when the sub never enters the Startup metered‑offer, so check Offer = MS‑AZR‑0036P; if not, switch+reload — still stuck, create a new sub under the same BillingAcct to force a clean scope‑attach.

Hey Akwera, it sounds like you’ve redeemed your Azure for Startups credits but they haven’t shown up after the usual 24 hours. Here’s what you can do next:

    1. Verify redemption in the Azure portal
      • Sign in to https://portal.azure.com with the same Microsoft Account (MSA) you used to enroll.
      • Go to “Subscriptions” > look for an “Azure Sponsorship” (or “Startup Sponsorship”) subscription.
      • Click into that subscription’s Overview page—you should see your remaining credit balance there.
    2. Double-check your enrollment details
      • Make sure you used a valid personal MSA (not a work/school account).
      • If you completed the business-verification step (to unlock additional credits), confirm that step finished successfully.
      • Check your email for any “Welcome to Azure for Startups” or “Your credits have been redeemed” messages.
    3. Open a billing support request If everything looks correct on your end and you still see that “Credits may take 24 hours…” banner, you can raise a support ticket directly in Azure:
      • In the portal, click Help + support (top right) > New support request
      • Under Issue type, select Billing
      • Choose Azure Sponsorship or Credits as the problem area, and describe that your credits haven’t appeared 24 hours after redemption.
A billing-support engineer will be able to check your subscription details and expedite the credit application.
