Unable to Access Microsoft Founders Hub – Redirect Loop to Signup Page (LinkedIn Login Issue)

Hello,

I’m currently experiencing an issue accessing the Microsoft Founders Hub portal.

When I attempt to log in, I’m continuously redirected to the signup page: https://portal.startups.microsoft.com/signup

I am trying to sign in using my LinkedIn account, which I previously used for registration. However, the system returns an error stating “No user found”, and I’m unable to proceed beyond the signup flow. This results in a login loop with no option to access my existing account.

Context:

  • I have already been approved for $5,000 in Azure credits through Founders Hub.
  • Most of these credits have been utilized for active services.
  • My product is live and gaining user traction.
  • I am currently preparing to apply for additional credits (up to $25,000) and need access to submit required details (demo videos, product info, etc.).

Request: Could you please help with:

  1. Resolving the login issue and restoring access to my existing Founders Hub account
  2. Clarifying if there are any known issues with LinkedIn-based login
  3. Guiding on the correct process to apply for additional Azure credits once access is restored

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

    Hello Rajesh Poojari

Thank you for sharing the detailed information. Based on the behavior you described (LinkedIn login showing “No user found” and Microsoft login redirecting to the signup page), this is a known scenario in Microsoft for Startups (Founders Hub) where the Founders Hub startup profile is not fully provisioned or not correctly linked to your login identity, even though the Azure sponsorship is active.

This results in the portal treating your login as a new user and continuously redirecting to the signup page.

Before proceeding with escalation, please confirm the following:

    1. Correct account and directory in Azure
    • Sign in to Azure Portal
    • Ensure you are using the same account that has the startup credits
      • Verify the correct directory (tenant) is selected
If the wrong directory is active, the Founders Hub portal may treat the login as a non-member and redirect back to signup.

    Test direct login URL

    • Try accessing: https://portal.startups.microsoft.com/login If this still redirects to signup, it confirms a provisioning issue.
    • This issue is not caused by browser cache, LinkedIn permissions, or incorrect email usage in most cases.
    • When the redirect loop persists even after trying different browsers and identities, it indicates a backend provisioning/identity linking issue.

Since this issue cannot be fixed from the user side, the recommended path is to contact Microsoft for Startups support for account reprovisioning.

    Gather details for support:

    • The exact email address you’re signing in with (MSA and/or LinkedIn)

    • Your Azure subscription ID for the sponsorship

    • The name of your startup and its Founders Hub application ID (if you have it)

    • Screenshots of the errors (“redirect to signup,” “user not found”)

    • Region (country) where you registered

Submit a support ticket in the Founders Hub portal:

    • Go to https://foundershub.startups.microsoft.com/login and sign in (even if it redirects)

    • Click the “?” icon in the top-right, choose “Submit a Support Ticket”

    • Attach the above details and screenshots

    Escalation path:

    • After you file the ticket, ping the Microsoft for Startups concierge team by replying here with your ticket number so we can flag it for manual reprovisioning on the backend.

Let me know once you’ve submitted the ticket (and paste the ticket number), and I’ll follow up with the team internally to get your profile reset.
