Hi Bohemond Longhi,
I understand how frustrating it is to not able to uninstall a recent update, especially since you’ve already tried all the usual methods. Unfortunately, from your description, it strongly indicates that KB5083769 is no longer removable on your system.
After a reset, Windows may integrate the update into the base image. Once that happens, there is no standalone package left for Windows to uninstall. The final option is clean install, but only if the update is not already added to the build:
- Download Windows 11 Media Creation Tool > create installation USB
- Boot it to the PC > choose Custom install > Reinstall Windows.
Disclaimer: Clean Install, like its name, will wipe clean all data on your drive. Please ensure that you backup any important data, including Documents, Pictures, Videos, and more. After that, you can find the instructions by navigating to the bottom of this guide: Reinstall Windows with the installation media - Microsoft Support
Your uninstall attempts are failing likely because the update is already integrated into the current system build after reset. The Clean Install is not guaranteed to work since the update might have been added to the installation media already.
Just wondering, what’s the reason for you wanting to uninstall the update? Is it an app performance, system crashes, or was it something else?
