I ordered a MS Office Pro in September or October last year. I have been paying $82.91 every month. The bank, TD trust has a receipt. Microsoft #G1497_V $82.91_V I have never gotten the Pro installation. I have never used it. Could you cancel the recurring charge. Also I would like a refund. Thank you from Robin Fox. PS. I have been using MS Personal but if possible I am changing to OpenOffice. I don't want to go on paying $82.91

    Hello Youba,

Thank you for posting question on Microsoft Windows Forum!

Based on your query of canceling and requesting for the refund of MS Office Pro. Well! This forum is just a user to user forum, no-one here has any account access. In fact, Microsoft has a process for handling billing disputes and refunds, but it requires going through their official support channels since only they can access your account and payment records.

Regarding canceling subscription. Please visit this https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/commerce/subscriptions/cancel-your-subscription?view=o365-worldwide for more information.

Cancellation and refunds for Microsoft subscriptions cannot be processed from this forum; they must be done through the Microsoft account that was charged.

Follow these steps to cancel and then check refund eligibility:

    1. Go to the Services & subscriptions page: https://account.microsoft.com/services.
    2. Sign in with the same Microsoft account that is being charged the $82.91 (this must be the account that purchased the subscription).
    3. Locate the subscription that matches the monthly charge.
    4. Select Manage next to that subscription.
    5. On the next page, select Cancel (or Upgrade or Cancel, depending on what is shown), then follow the on‑screen steps to complete cancellation.
      • If you see Turn on recurring billing instead of Manage or Cancel, the subscription is already set to expire on the date shown and will not be charged again.

    Refund eligibility:

    • For Microsoft 365 and other Microsoft subscriptions purchased from Microsoft, refund eligibility is determined after cancellation. Not all cancellations result in a refund.
    • If the subscription was purchased in a country or region that supports prorated refunds, a partial refund may be available when cancelling. See the guidance in the article on countries with prorated refunds referenced from the refund page.
    • If the subscription was purchased through Google Play or the Apple App Store, cancellation and any refund must be requested from Google or Apple, not Microsoft.

If the charge is not recognized or might be from a different Microsoft account, use the Manage your payments page from the billing article to investigate the charge details, then cancel the associated subscription and request a refund if eligible.

For additional help or if the subscription cannot be found under the account used, contact Microsoft Support using the Contact Support option referenced in the refund article so an agent can review the billing on the account that is being charged.
