Screenshot 2026-05-01 113153 ˄ Above is my main screenshot of this graphical bug in MS Edge. Many other things happen to it. I have a couple of screenshots of this bug and some of it's behaviors. When using a certain DevTools thing in DevTools, the tab bar becomes black. Once the bug happens. it can become a blurred darked version of behind the window, and when toggled tabs it becomes what the pages contents previously was. Does not cause problems with the normal tab bar. Only effects one window. excluding if you cause the bug on a different window. I can replicate it. Has happened 2 times. Win11 latest Edge, has been happening on older Edge too. Bye

Hi there, Thanks for posting here in Microsoft Community. Upon checking the screenshot that you have sent, it seems that this issue is a graphics rendering problem in Microsoft Edge, often related to GPU acceleration or DevTools.

To resolve or reduce this issue. Try the following steps below:

    1. Make sure Microsoft Edge is updated to the latest version.
    2. Update your computer’s graphics (GPU) driver from the manufacturer’s website.
    3. Turn off Hardware Acceleration in Edge settings, then restart Edge.
    4. Close and reopen the Edge window when the problem happens.
    5. Try not to use the DevTools feature that causes the issue.
    6. If the issue still happens, try using a new Edge profile.

If the steps above did not fix the issue, I recommend sending feedback to Microsoft so they can investigate it. You may submit feedback in this issue using Microsoft’s Feedback Hub so the right team can review it. When you submit it, add as many details as you can so Microsoft can better understand the issue.
